Datatel, Inc. and DubMeNow, Inc., today announced a strategic partnership to provide higher education faculty, students, and alumni with a unique and personal way to interact, access, and exchange information anywhere, at anytime, using their mobile devices. An early release of Datatel Mobile on the DubMeNow mobile platform will be demonstrated in the Datatel booth (#304) at EDUCAUSE 2009, November 3–5, in Denver.

“Datatel Mobile will extend our products’ dynamic user experience directly to the hands of our clients’ constituents,” said John Speer, Datatel President and CEO. “Whether an admissions candidate checking their status, a student retrieving their latest test scores, or an alumnus requesting a transcript, Datatel and DubMeNow will provide unequaled and easy access to their information from anywhere with a cell phone signal. Datatel Mobile is the new user interface of the next decade and beyond.”

“Meeting new people is one of the most exciting aspects of being a student. DUB makes it easier for students to connect and stay connected. We are thrilled to partner with Datatel, as our integrated technologies will transform the way higher education students interact with, process, and exchange institution information from their mobile phones,” said Manoj Ramnani, founder and CEO, DubMeNow.
