The Web site developers behind one of the most visited sites in the U.S., eHow.com, released a new application for Android-powered cell phones today, offering users access to instructional videos and articles from mobile devices.

Santa Monica-based Demand Media Inc. released the eHow mobile application optimized for Android 2.0 software along with Google Inc.  Tuesday morning.

The free tool searches, retrieves and plays back instructional videos and articles and allows downloaders to contribute personal experiences, photos and media while connecting with the eHow community.
